about

ReCaptcha has a Sound Setting, instead of letters and images.
I took 64 5 digit strings of numbers, converted those numbers into chords and set some rules based the outcomes.

There are 4 movements, each with their own set of 16 chords.

For example, if the string of numbers I got was 6 4 5 6 8
6 is a pair, If there is a pair, I must sustain the chord,
The Sum is 29 which tells me what order it goes in in regards to the other 16 in this setting. 29 is a higher number so it will most likely end up in the last bit of chords. The sum will also tell me whether to up strum, or down strum based on whether it's odd or even.

The lowest number in this set is 4, and the highest is 8, their sum is 12, which is an even number, so I will strum the whole chord. If it were an odd number, I would arpeggiate the chord. There are more rules based on if one of the highest or lowest numbers has a pair or not, but I don't need to get into that here.

in each of the 4 segments of 16 chords, I add up all the sums of the individual chords, divide that total by 4, and I'm given my BPM.

there are a little bit more rules about doubles, 2 pairs, and 3 of a kind, but I won't get into that here.

I might post a link to the rules that I've made for this captcha chord generator.

After I did all that, I duplicated the track, quantized one of them to the grid, which alters the pitch when the transients are moved.

Then I switched the panning for each movement
